Resumo
In this paper I suggest sorne arguments against the proposal elaborated by A. Jonsen and S. Toulmin for applied ethics. First of all I try to demonstrate that "the new casuistics" tends to reduce the critica! capacity of the ethics. On the other hand I argue that this proposal could also transform the ethics into a "tyranny of the experts", the people who finally select both the agenda of topics to discuss and the paradigmatical cases that form the warrants of the moral reasoning.
